Facebook Groups

We support pulling in A) Posts and B) Comments on Posts from public and private Facebook Groups. Each post and each comment is treated as an indvidual feedback entry in Unwrap. Per Facebook's API restrictions, we will only be able to pull posts and comments that occur after the steps below are completed, which means Unwrap will not be able to backfill historical data.

To integrate, please ensure you have Admin privileges for the Group(s) you are integrating.

Step 1: Install Unwrap's Facebook App on your Group

You can install Unwrap's Facebook app by following these directions. Our app is called Unwrap Data Integration, and you will see our logo when selecting our app.

Step 2: Add Unwrap Facebook user to the Group

Facebook's permissions requires Unwrap to authenticate as a user within the Group. An Unwrap employee will ask to join your Group so that we can authenticate.

Step 3: Specify the Groups you want to integrate

For each Group that you've performed steps 1 and 2 on, send the links to those Groups to Unwrap, so that we can integrate them.
