Adding data
There's a number of ways to get your feedback data into Unwrap, including both manual uploads and automated integrations.
Automated integrations
We integrate with 100s of sources directly, not all of which are displayed on the Integrations page.
Once an integration is configured, Unwrap will automatically pull in new feedback each night. If there's an integration you'd like to use that you don't see on our Integrations page, please send us an email at contact@unwrap.ai.
Self-service integrations
Certain integrations you can set up yourself, without any help from Unwrap. These include:
- Google Play Store Reviews
- Apple App Store Reviews
- Zendesk
- CSVs
CSV Uploads
See below for the proper CSV format for CSV uploads. You can also hover over the table to see instructions on the integrations page after selecting the CSV
source.
Column Name | Description | Example |
---|---|---|
title | The title of the feedback received | Small portion size |
details* | The text body of the feedback | I love Chipotle, I just don't like how their portion sizes have been getting smaller |
date* | The date in format "MM/DD/YY HH:MM:SS" or "MM/DD/YY" | 10/15/2022 |
user | The name/username of the customer | rusty123 |
id | An ID that uniquely references each feedback entry you are uploading (e.g. survey response ID, support ticket ID) | ticketIdABC123 |
stars | Rating of feedback as an integer between 0-5 for the feedback (typically for reviews) | 2 |
source_url | Link back to the entry in the source platform to allow for easy viewing and response | feedback.survey.link/abc123 |
Note: * fields are required
You can also add as many additional columns for metadata as you'd like - we call these Custom Fields. For example, if you were uploading survey responses and there was a column "csat_score", you could add that to your CSV upload. Then, once the data is loaded, you'll be able to filter all analysis in Unwrap by the values in that column.
Errors
If we detect an anomaly in your CSV, we will tell you the row
and column
of the issue on your spreadsheet. Please note that every row you upload must have a non-empty value for the "details" column, and a non-empty value for the "date" column.
CSV uploads are also limited to 10K rows per upload. If you need to upload more than 10K rows, you can split the CSV into the multiple files of less than 10K rows, or you can work with our support team who can upload the data on your behalf.
