Overview

Unwrap integrates with Trustpilot using Trustpilot's private Business API to ingest customer reviews for analysis.

To enable this integration, you will need:
- A Trustpilot Business account with API access enabled
- An API key and API secret from the Trustpilot Business portal (Integrations → API Access)
- At least one Business Unit associated with the API credentials

Setup Steps

1. Select Trustpilot from the integrations list
From the Unwrap Integrations page, find and select Trustpilot.

2. Connect to Trustpilot
Provide your API Key and API Secret from your Trustpilot Business portal (Integrations → API Access). Unwrap exchanges these for an access token via Trustpilot's OAuth client credentials flow and automatically discovers the Business Units linked to your account. Reviews are fetched per Business Unit; if your account has multiple Business Units, all linked units are discovered and ingested under the same integration.

3. Select metadata to enrich your Unwrap feedback
Choose which Trustpilot fields to pull in alongside the review text.

4. Add filters
Narrow what's ingested — for example, filter by Business Unit, star rating range, verification status, or date range.

5. Name your integration
Give the integration a descriptive name (e.g., "Trustpilot — Brand UK") and submit. It will take 1–2 hours for historical reviews to be ingested and analyzed.
